Life-Changing Programs

Life-Changing Programs at Blue Ridge

Admissions at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center begins with a simple phone call. Our admissions staff is on hand to answer any questions about our program and help you determine if our treatment program in Georgia is the best fit for you or your loved one. We can also help you navigate health insurance coverage or answer any questions about financial requirements after your initial call.

All of our treatment programs begin with a complete evaluation of your substance abuse history and current characteristics and patterns of use. Each potential client completes a thorough, yet simple pre-admissions assessment, and our clinical director and medical director of nursing will then offer placement for the program that offers the best fit– either the detoxification program or residential treatment program.

Detox Program

Medically-Assisted Detox Program

Effective substance abuse treatment can only begin once the individual is no longer addicted. If the person is still experiencing constant cravings, then that individual won’t be able to focus on their wellness, and treatment may not be as successful or as possible. Our medically supervised detoxification program is one of Georgia’s leading programs and is designed to help each individual stop using substances in the safest and most comfortable way possible. Detox may include medications as deemed necessary, and all clients receive supervision from our medical director and nursing staff. There is a licensed nurse on duty 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week to ensure a safe detoxification from alcohol or other drugs as you go through withdrawal.

Residential

Residential Treatment Program

The Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center residential programming is a 35-45 day treatment program, which provides clients with the tools to begin a life free from drugs and alcohol. Each client receives a full assessment along with a mutually agreed upon, individualized treatment plan that is updated regularly based on the client’s progress. Our programming is designed to engage the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, social, legal and vocational needs of our clients in order to help them transform their “whole person”.

We know that recovery from any substance addiction is extremely difficult and affects each person in unique ways. We provide the most up to date, empirically supported treatments and supplemental experiential activities available. Our compassionate, skilled staff obtains training on a regular basis in order to use the most proven treatment methods. In our treatment programs, we provide a number of different treatment options, including individual, group, and family therapy modalities in order to address each area affected by your addiction and ensure your needs are met.

There are several areas of the programming that I LOVE, but weekly yoga and DBT have to be some of the highlights.
