Director of Clinical Services

Precious Avorkliyah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years of experience providing behavioral health services across inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient therapy practices, managed care organizations, and executive clinical leadership. She earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Paterson University.

Throughout her career, Precious has specialized in clinical assessment, trauma-informed psychotherapy, crisis intervention, program development, clinical supervision, and behavioral health operations, serving children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families across diverse treatment settings. In addition to her clinical work, Precious is passionate about mental health advocacy, clinician development, and advancing equitable access to quality behavioral healthcare through education, leadership, and systems improvement. She believes meaningful healing begins with authentic human connection, a philosophy captured in the principle that guides both her practice and leadership: “Real people heal people.”

For Precious, authenticity is the foundation of every therapeutic relationship and the catalyst for lasting transformation. Outside of her professional life, Precious is first and foremost the proud mother of an 11-year-old son. Much of her free time is happily spent as a soccer mom, cheering from the sidelines and supporting her son’s passions. She also finds renewal in nature through hiking, enjoys reading, and treasures quality time with friends and family.
