Peter Piraino, LMSW, LCDC, LISAC

Peter Piraino brings over a decade of experience in clinical and leadership roles within the substance use treatment field to his position as chief executive officer at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center. Raised in Long Island, NY, Peter earned his master’s in social work from Stony Brook University, where he also taught future social workers. His career has spanned providing therapy to adolescents and adults and serving on leadership teams at some of the nation’s most respected treatment centers.
Peter, along with his wife, son, and five dogs, relocated to Texas, where he continued to enhance his reputation for elevating treatment programs while maintaining a strong focus on ethical, client-centered care. Now in Ball Ground, Georgia, Peter is leading Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center with a deep commitment to providing high-quality, accessible treatment and fostering a compassionate recovery environment.
Peter feels deeply honored to be part of an organization with such a long-standing reputation in the field of substance use disorder, and he is committed to advancing its mission of providing excellence in care.
