Lisa Ehlers, M.Ed., LCSW, CCTP
Lisa brings over 30 years of experience in education, social work, and behavioral health to her role as Clinical Director at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center. She holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education from Kennesaw State University and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, with extensive expertise in trauma-informed care and specialized treatment.
Lisa’s career includes leadership roles as an Executive Director, private practice owner, and clinician in various settings. She has a proven track record of launching innovative programs, mentoring teams, enhancing clinical services, and building strong community partnerships. Her work is driven by a passion for supporting underserved populations and fostering growth and recovery for individuals and families.
A proud resident of Cherokee County, Lisa spent 20 years as an educator, raised two sons, and is the grandmother of two grandsons. Beginning in January 2025, she will also serve as an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University. Outside of her professional commitments, Lisa enjoys traveling, history, music, movies, and spending time with her 1-year-old Husky.
