Allen Smith serves as Director of Facility Operations, bringing a diverse background in facilities management, specialized construction, and operational leadership. With more than 15 years of experience in specialized construction projects at major state aquariums across the United States, Allen has developed a strong foundation in complex facility systems, maintenance, and project coordination.
Prior to joining the healthcare and rehabilitation industry, Allen spent approximately five years as a Facility Manager with Topgolf in Atlanta, where he oversaw facility operations and provided traveling operational support throughout the Southeast. His experience across multiple industries has shaped his hands-on approach to leadership, commitment to operational excellence, and focus on maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning environments.
In his current role, Allen is dedicated to supporting the facility’s mission through reliable operations, proactive maintenance, and a commitment to creating a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. He takes pride in solving problems, supporting his team, and ensuring that the facility operates at its best each day.
